This is the photo of Soheil Asefi (release Shoeil Asefi weblog (farsi) ) holding a “Release Amir Yaghoub-ali” sign.
This photo have been taken by well known activist: Amhad Batebi.

Amir is now released (on bail).
Soheil (the person in this photo) is in the prison these days without any announced crim. Nobody known where or why.
What a photo; Soheil standing for Amir: taken by Ahmad.

After waiting there for 6 hours the authorities decided to release Amir somewhere else! A car with sealed (blacked outed?) tinted windows left the prison and dropped some of the students one by one in different places of the city. We went to Amir's house and met him there afterwards. We were there for an hours. He is very brave. He was talking openly about the tortures and ill treatments. He was hanged from his handcuffed hands to the ceiling for two hours and spend most of the time in a individual cell, colored in green with 24 hours lights on and he had to wear blindfolds all the times outside of the cell.
I have to talk with him more. But for now, the news is “He is out and he is bravely awaiting for his trial“.

The counter says 661 hours in prison. And Amir is going to be released after a few hours (say 5, so he spent 666 hours in prison!). We are glad, despite the fact that sometimes this is a “game”. They say “we are going to release” him but they dont (mental torturing). But we are going to go the Evin prisons gate and stand there till his release.
I think it is a good strategy to go there and wait there TILL his RELEASE even if this takes days. This way we will be able to make “some” pressure and show that this kind of mental torture, may lead to bad side effects ;) Despite all I said, we are going to the gates of that frightening prison right now and hope to return back at nigh with AMIR YAGOUBALI. I will be able to stop that counter.
p.s. This will be a temporary release on bail. he has to wait for his court. During this, I will work on my legal (law related) vocabulary! :D

Today is the day of coherence(?)solidarity with these students in Iran. Everybody is putting the above photo in their weblog and asking for their release. We do not have any news from Amir for 587 hours and Amir is among latest people who were arrested. Many reports claim that they were tortured. I think a state who answers IDEA with TORTURE, knows that he will be the looser in the field of LOGIC.

Hijab (A scarf on the head and a long dress) is obligatory in Iran but the Chador is not. Chador is a long black square which covers the head and all the body! But it seems that it is going to be obligatory soon ! Silly guys. They do not differ from Taliban for me; both think that they can FORCE people to heaven. Look at the entrance of this hospital:

OK! I will translate it for you ;) it reads “Providing services to the women will be limited to ones with superior hijab (Chaodr) from 3 / 2007″. Poofff… Right now in Iran if you do not cover all of your body with a big black tissue, not only you will not enter the heaven, but also you can not go to judiciary system and hospitals and entertainment parks! Yes; some amusement parks do not let women enter with a scarf and “manto (long dress)”.
Today I've seen this invention in a blog.

Is this going to be our future?
p.s. I was in Dubai for a week. My friend Amir Yagoubali is in prison for more than 550 hours.
