Hello,
I am a American that has left the United States to live in a more peaceful, relaxed country (no military!).
I recently came across your blog and enjoy it very much. I have a question for you, why do you stay in Iran considering
that is seems like your life could be in danger (for blogging)?

Best regards,
****

Hi *****,
Many people are leaving Iran but just imagine what will happen if all of leave the country. There
should be some people to do the change. I'm not talking about heros, I'm talking about ordinary people
who should stay here, demand their rights and ask for the change. Irans Islamic regime saya “All Iranians
are with us and all Iranians are demanding nuclear research”. I have to stay in Iran so I will be able to say:
“No :) I'm an Iranian and I do not support you nor nuclear research.”
Yes. Staying here is difficult and dangerous but while I can tolerate the situation, I'll do my best to stay
here and say my word.

  1. loll ..hey Mr.American i am Canadian…near me Iran is one of the most respectful country in the world..last hope for Muslims…where ppl live according to Islamic ways…i admit they r hard on women but if they allow women to wear whatever they want it’s a first step not to follow Islamic laws…it’s very important for Iran to go for nuclear search..for it’s existence for it’s safety….the storm coming from west already invaded Afghanistan and Iraq….next target is pakistan..it’s necessary for Iran to go for nuclear search tats the only possible way…. Iran can stop tat storm…democracy is for western countries not for muslim countries coz we r the followers of mohammad and ahlulbayth..our democracy is to live under islamic laws…not every one is leaving iran ppl who love their religion… who love too live according to islamic conditions staying in iran…and very soon i am planning to visit iran…probably planning for investment….

“all muslim countries are western slaves ..tats why there is too much disturbance and violence in muslim countries.. all muslims leaders r western followers..killing their own ppl…except iran..at least there is peace in iran no western policies ppl have security and peace of mind..western have no gutts to attack on iran…

  2. Actually i really want to leave and joing my non-iranian husband. But they dont give Iranians a visa!! Visa restriction on Iranian passport holders are getting worse and worse everyday..

  3. [...] keep telling when they are asked whether they aren’t afraid of living in Israel or some other dangerous place: If somebody “up there” – or where ever – wants you gone a day is enough to get you [...]

hi; I don’t know much about Iran. I didn’t know that part of the women’s fight for equality in Iran is to remove polygamy until I read your blog. It changes my perspective on things. I didn’t know if people are content with polygamy or not – now I can see, factually, that some people are discontent. I wish that I could speak with more Iranians about these kinds of things. Your blog is very good in that way.

  5. Its your home. Why would you leave? There were different times in Iran before (not the best either) and there will be different times again. Hopefully things will change not only in 40 years, but sooner.

It needs people like you. Even if you are passive, you are influencing people with what you write. You don’t even know how powerful this is and that is why they censor your blogs. Keep writing. I respect your courage! Your writing is great, even though its not your native language and your blog is very informative. I’ll come back to read more.

Greetings from Moscow. I’m a German who left his country. Not because of the system, though. I just wanted to see something else ;-) Guess, that is also why I ended up reading your blog.
